MasterSounds founder Ryan Shaw skillfully designed the MasterSounds turntable weight to reduce a turntable’s noise floor, improving the musical soundstage. By placing the turntable weight via the spindle on top of a record, its mass reduces unwanted resonance, meaning users enjoy improved bass response, tighter mids, and controlled highs.

Works on all formats.

Whether it's your beloved 12”, 10”, 7” or even 7” “45’s”, MasterSounds turntable weights are compatible. For a 45 with a large punched hole, simply add a plastic ‘dink’ and place our turntable weight on top, giving superior control, feel and sound compared to a traditional 45 adapter. 

Less Skip, More Control.

We developed an anti-slip base for our turntable weight; this grips the record, allowing you to use the knurled top of the weight to nudge the record forwards and backwards when perfecting a mix, or gently helping your beloved belt-driven HiFi turntable rotate up to speed.

Absorb the Warp.

Pressing plants try to achieve quality control on every record made, however, intrinsic issues like dished or warped records can still appear. DJs, this can be especially helpful to you; adding weight to your dished/warped record and encouraging it to flatten and stabilise aids in cueing a problematic record before playing or mixing and eliminates needle skip.

We ship items to locations across the world on a daily basis via Royal Mail tracked & signed.

Audio accessories are generally shipped within 1-2 days of order to the address provided when checking on the website. It is your responsibility to provide the correct shipping address at check out. MasterSounds is not responsible for any shipping address or return address errors. If items are returned to MasterSounds due to a shipping address error made by the customer the shipping price for the item will be re-charged.

Please Note - Customers outside the UK may have to pay import duty on receiving goods, MasterSounds specifies the full purchase amount on all shipping and customs documents.

If you are not completely satisfied with your MasterSounds purchase please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item to discuss a refund or exchange. Refunded and exchanged items must be unused and in all original packaging. No returns or exchanges are permitted on custom orders. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
