The TRIO L-07D is widely regarded as one of the finest direct drive turntables ever produced, and for good reason. From its massive non-resonant plinth to its quartz-locked direct drive motor & stunning tonearm design, the L-07D represents a no-compromise approach to vinyl playback, built during a golden era when engineering excellence mattered more than cost.

At MasterSounds, we spend a lot of time with reference-level analogue equipment, and the TRIO L-07D remains the most impressive turntable we’ve ever encountered.

Whether you’re a vinyl enthusiast, collector of rare Japanese hi-fi, or simply curious about what the pinnacle of vinyl playback really meant in the late 1970s, this is a turntable worth understanding.

At MasterSounds, we understand these design classics to the core, that’s why every turntable we ship is “MasterSounds Approved”.

At MasterSounds, we spend a lot of time with reference-level analogue equipment, and the TRIO L-07D remains the most impressive turntable we’ve ever encountered.
